How Do I Block Farmville and Other Facebook Game Requests? *UPDATED*
Today’s “ah-ha” moment:
I get this question a lot and rightfully so…
Q: How do I get rid of those annoying Farmville/Cityville/Mafia Wars/Family Fued game requests on Facebook?
A: While in Facebook, go into your privacy settings at the top right of your screen (next to “Home”), scroll down and click “blocked people and apps”, then you can enter what apps (or people) you want to block.

It does work, (I just blocked a new one, ChefVille) but you DO have to block each game you don’t want and there are always new games out there. Make sure you are entering the name of the game in the correct location. There are 4 areas to block…Users…App Invites…Event Invites…and Apps. “BLOCK APPS” is the area you want to enter the name (ex. Farmville). Good luck!
