Why Does Everyone Love Pinterest?

Alright, so yes I’m on Pinterest but honestly just not that interested. However, it has now become the 3rd largest social network out there just behind Facebook and Twitter respectfully. So to stay on top of things I must learn to at least tolerate it, right? Maybe because I’m not much of a girly-girl and it seems that all that’s posted are “girly” pictures. I do understand it’s a great way to drive business, especially if your business includes products and/or is visual. I do like the idea of Pinterest but I just can’t get my brain around it yet. Of course I said the same thing about Facebook several  years ago too. 

So help me out, what is your opinion about Pinterest? What do you love most about it? Do you have any secret tips or tricks to using it effectively?
